After taking a look at an Allosaurus skeleton, I found out that unlike the Walking With Dinosaurs version, Allosaurus had crests in front of the eyes rather than on them.
You should check the Blender Cookie tutorial (http://cgcookie.com/blender/2010/06/17/series-stylized-dragon-part-1/ ) , might teach you some cool techniques for your model!

Picked it up again, started texturing and applied a normal map and a diffuse texture to the dinosaur. It’s still a little messy, but I am going to fix it tomorrow.

I think you need more about anatomies and building thing with low mesh .

I know, Alekzsander, but I really don’t like this model, so I think I just want to get it over with. I started working on a dromaeosaur today using references, already coming out pretty good(a lot better than this one.)
