Allowing specific materials to bypass Vector Blur??

I am wondering whether it is possible to allow certain materials (or objects) to bypass vector blur (so it doesn’t get blurred out)

objects are easy
you can use render layers

materials would be harder (if the object has several materials and you only want to blur one)
mask the areas that you don’t want blurred with some tricky node setup

but basically if it is part of the same object that is moving in the real world
it all gets blurred no matter what the material
