I got an intresting Problem today Blender started to show it like on the attached picture. The faces are selected so you can see it better. It seems the “solid” mesh is smaller than its “cage” and i can see parts of the edges on the backside. Like the z-buffer is messed up. I have no idea if i accidentially changed a setting. Sometimes i do weired things in blender when using instant messengers and still having blender focused
However, when i reset to factory defaults its back to normal, but it is no solution. I don´t want to resetup my enviroment and this behaivior is highly annoying especially when working with complex or high poly meshes.
Neither did i, but looking through my settings that was the only value off normal and setting it to default solved the problem.
Maybe there is a calculation bug between the “cage” and the “mesh” and the error multiplies on higher clip settings. Who knows. I am back to normal, and blender still rocks ^^
