Alpha channel issues

Hi everyone,

I saw a couple of other threads about alpha channel problems but they didn’t seem to cover the issue I’m having.
I have all of the nodes set up correctly for alpha in cycles but I get a see through black area where it’s supposed to be transparent. Any ideas on why it might do that?

Make sure the Transparent BSDF Color is pure white and the transparency is 100% around the leaves in the image, everything should work if those two things are setup right. If that’s correctly setup maybe try converting the image to a transparent .png, those always worked great for me.

Edit: Richard below is right, didn’t see your second mix shader because the image wasn’t resized properly :o)

Remove this mix shader node, you are mixing your transparent material 50% with nothing
