Alpha map ERROR ?

Hello!

I have to render a tree wich has leafs with alpha map, but blender makes something really strange… here is the picture:

Can someone suggest how to solve this? Or is this another blenders imperfection…

And one more thing… even if I solve this… in alpha channel I get squares… not my alpha maped textures… can it be done… ? hmm

Well that picture isn’t doing any of us a whole lot of good… just attach it to the post.

To get a picture with alpha to display properly on a plane, you have to turn on z transparency and turn the alpha all the way DOWN, OR, just set the texture to multiply, and if the whole image is just a matte, be sure to turn on “RGB to intensity”.

I think you need to use raytransp and set your alpha render depth to about 25.
