Alpha plane still showing up faintly

Hey guys, I’m using Blender 2.49b and i wanted to have an invisible plane exept for one spot, the muzzle flash. But it keeps doing this.

In the material settings make sure you have zero specularity

How would you go about doing that?

Reduce the specularity to zero for the plane with the gunflash texture


it helped a little but its still showing up, im using GLSL

It might be something to do with how you UV mapped it the same thing happened to me.
