alpha problem?

let me talk on the images:

the object between the planes can not get light even the above layer is transperent.is it normal?

note:on pictues ,i am doing some experiments to make a rotoscope:)

For the above plane try turning on Ztransp in the material buttons.

also turn on TraShadow for the sphere

ztransp was allready turned on.trashadow solved the problem.thank you very much. :wink:

note: it works ,but not with yafray… :-?
