I want to do card hair and for a simple test i tried making an orange dot on a transparent background. I understand that i need to Texture a plane with the image that has a transparent spot, then click UseAlpha in image section. set alpha to 0.00 in material section and finally click alpha in the map to section. I have done all that stuff. The result i am getting is that the transparent part of the plane shows the world color but i can’t see my character through it. here are pictures of my settings and the results. the square around the orange dot is supposed to be transparent (and it is in the material preview but not in the render). please point out what im doing wrong here.
In Links and Pipeline tab, click “ZTransp”, or, if you’re using raytracing click “RayTransp” in MirrorTransp tab.
