I just recently converted from Blender 2.49b to 2.58. I am accustomed to using the Alt-LMB to spin the 3D view around to look at a mesh from any angle. That doesn’t seem to work in the new Blender. I see it can be done by depressing the middle mouse button, which on my mouse is a scroll wheel. This button takes a lot of pressure and is very tiring, not to mention that it exacerbates some tendonitis problems. Is there a different keyboard shortcut to accomplish this?
I meant 3D Viewport.
File / User Preferences / Input, select ‘Emulate 3 Button Mouse’
That was fast; thanks, Richard.
