I did an Alt D copy to create an instance of another object. I would like to make this object its own animal.

Under the Objects Panel there is the “Objects and Links” Tab. I see that 3 objects are linked. If I click that “3” it asks if I want to make it a “Single User.” Is this what I want to do?

Just checking before I do it.
