What are some photo/image editors that can edit the RGB and Alpha channels in an image? Preferably looking for something free, but I’m willing to look at paid software that isn’t adobe.
For most of my 2D stuff, I use Clip Studio Paint but it doesn’t have channel support. For a project I’m working on though I need it for several textures (Right now I’m getting around that by saving the “alpha channel” as a separate image, but I want to try and optimise everything as best I can).
The only 2 I’m aware of are Gimp and Photoshop, but I’m just not a fan of Gimp’s Ui, I can’t wrap my head around it, and I’m currently trying to avoid Adobe in general so photoshop is off the table (I also just can’t afford their prices anymore lol).
