Hi all,
I’m trying to bake Ambient Occlusion on a simple crate object and the resulting bake is either flat white or black (depending on whether Normalize is on or off). I’ve been doing AO bakes in this scene without problems until recently so something I’ve done is now causing this issue. It also bakes very quickly, like it’s not having to do much computation.
As a test I created a new mesh cube and put the same texture on it and tried baking that, the result is the same but it takes longer to bake. I’ve also imported the object into a clean scene and it bakes fine again.
This must be such a school boy error on my part but for the life of me I can’t work out what I’ve done in this scene to cause this. Can anyone think what might be the problem?
Cheers,
Carl.
I’m using Blender 2.63 btw.
