Ambient Occlusion? Gray eyelids and fingernail edges?

Edit: Solved. Had to switch subsurface from Random walk to Christensen Burley.

Hi, I’m having issues with these weird-looking fingernails on all of my characters when using Cycles.

After Googling around I found that adding an Ambient Occlusion node can solve this issue. However, the AO Node doesn’t work with Optix just yet. Does anyone have any ideas for another workaround? This issue makes everyone’s characters look like they have really dirty nails. I’ve tried playing with AO world settings but it doesn’t seem like the right direction.

I’m using Ecycles RTX 2.82 build.
