AMD Readies Massive Radeon Software Update with Crimson ReLive Drivers – Performance Increases For Radeon GCN Cards Across The Board
I hope new drivers will fix Cycles black screen issue on older GCN cards.
I seriously doubt it will have any impact on it…maybe I will be proven wrong?

If you were planning to install Relive edition, you probably would want to wait. Cycles is not responding at all with newest drivers:
Don’t have this problem, but like Bigbad, no speedup on win7. Only win10 driver is much faster.
I don’t have much time at the moment, so I can’t promise to release it soon, but I have a working version of cycles which is about 15% faster than my previous patch and compile kernels very fast. I may make a small funding campaign for it.
Sounds cool, If you provide the patch Blibblubli ill do a build for people and post it here. I tried the compile patch on dev forum by lukas but with current master weirdly doubled compile times so i would love to try this.
Compile time on latest blender build have gone from 20ish seconds to like 60ish seconds.
