Short, avoid the FX platform. at this point in time it is an old architecture, that simply does not perform, even when i came out it had problems performing. I had one, and still someone on the shelf, for the collection, but not something I would use anytime soon.
looking at new ryzen 6 core 12 thread, it easly outperforms the 8 core FX… even older gen intel CPU’s like the 5820k easly outperforms the FX. so avoid.
