Ammo bar

Greetings,

As you can tell from the pic below:

I am trying to make it so that when I fire the first shot, one of the ammo slashes goes away and when i fire the second shoot the second slash goes away, and so on. It’s not as simple as it sounds. Any suggestions?

Ignore the rest of that pic, i’m just messing around right now.

ok, here is the blend file. i’m not saying this is the best/only way to do it. for all i know, it could have been done with a few property sesors. whatever.

so… imagine this

an armature with a bone for each of the parts, where each bone is oriented facing to the right

an action actuator set to play by property

the action for that armature configured to rotate the pieces 180 degress [so that the camera can only see the invisible backside]…

an extremely simple way would be to make a thin box or plane with a keyboard sensor and a visibility actuator making it visible. you’d have to use properties to actually deplete ammo count. For reload, make the plane invisible again
