Hey, I finally got to go back and work on Amp’s model some. I have here the WIP of his hands. I am looking for constructive criticism, and suggestions. (I’ve been told the thumb is too big, but I’m not sure).
This robot looks very funny and cartoony. I would agree that the thumb is a little too long. The really short legs look funny, but if I were creating this, I might shorten the waist cylinder and lengthen the legs, or replace them completely with wheels, treads, or some combination. Finally, and this is just personal preference, not a criticism, but I’m not into 3-fingered characters. They always look like they’re missing something. I’d have four fingers (plus a thumb), but like I said, that’s just personal preference! Keep it up!
