An Image and a Cube

Hi,

I know that this has been explained a lot and there are a bunch of tutorials but no matter what I do I can’t do this really simple thing in blender.

What I’m trying to do is: add an image to a cube and that image looks the same on all faces.

It only looks good on one face (top one). On the others it gets stretched like crazy. On the projection, in the Texture Mapping, I’ve selected Cube (like most tutorials tell me to do), Flat, Sphere and Tube but there’s not visual change. I’ve also changed the coordinate from Generated to everything else but same result.

Any ideas why I can’t do this?

Using: Blender v2.67b, Blender Render
Image size: 1024x1024

Edit your cube, select all faces, press [U] (Unwrap) --> Reset. From there, you can use flat mapping and UV coordinates.

The unwrap reset makes it so that each face will use the whole texture. Easy as pie.

It worked!! Thank you!!
