an improperly rigged stickman

hi,

I was making a stickman but I have a problem. When I move a bone it deforms in unwanted ways, like in the picture. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this little situation and show me how it should be done. :slight_smile:

had a look and noticed its not weight painted

so thats the problem? I guess I gotta go look at some more tutorials then >.>
