An Old Man Looking East

I made this image a little while ago and was considering it mostly finished. I sort of wanted it to be a leaderhead for Civilization 4, if any of you play that, but it ended up with too many polygons so i just rendered it as a normal image.
However, then i wondered if I should redo the eyes and the background.
I decided to come to Elysiun for anymore advice from you sages of 3-d modeling. Comments and critiques are most welcome.

i also may have to submit a larger image, I now realize it’s sorta hard to see details.

are his eyes yellow? If so, you should darken the edges with a darker color a little so they stand out.

also, since you’re just rendering it instead of as a game model you might add some wrinkes.

How do you know he is looking East? Why is he wearing a sweater in the middle of a desert? hehe.

But really, the facial structure is real good and well defined.
