anatomically incorrect knot (update 18.7: chrome version)

woow! how did you get the crome reflections? hdri? enviroment maps? carefully placed lights? external rendering?

and um… I’m more of a bad kitty when it comes to those kind of horrible things… :frowning:

ztonzy: I tried and tried… never was satisfied with the results, so … I gave up and thought: it’s blender work, let it look like one… heh… hmm, maybe YAF ? :wink:

dmbadcat & d524[…] : I used these, what I would call, “cheap ass” reflection textures. all procedurals… so. I have two hard noise “Marble” textures. one dark one white. both a bit of a different sizes… and I map them to “ref”… and tweak alittle the XYZ-sizes in material buttons until I’m satisfied. that’s it.
(yes, it’s all fake, and no true reflections anywhere. but I’m not after realism…I like to “paint” with 3d… )

Very cool- though i wouldn’t want my genetalia to make up someone elses arm. On a lighter note- how’d you do the glow?
