New Features:

  • Basic Bloom
  • Third Person Mouse Look
  • Head bobbing feature (inspired by Half-Life 2)
  • A few ambient occlusion maps

The bloom shader limits the framerate, I think that was intentional. (I didn’t write the shader)

The first screen makes the game nearly fall into the trap of having too much bloom.

Any more would make parts of the game hard to look at from the brightness, bloom should be used in moderation.

I agree with CD on this one, you may want to tone it down a tad. I’d recommend baking a lot of your light and setting many static objects to shadeless to save on framerate.

It was turned down a few hours after I posted the last screenshot. The bloom was a bit exaggerated to make it obvious it’s there (because some people think that bloom equals a lot of glowing objects).
