Angry Birds hand sanitizer; the best new product since the Hello Kitty exhaust pipe.

I know that Rovio has already been marketing the Angry Birds brand through Plush toys, cartoons, and even a theme park, but it seems like the Angry Birds brand has started to become a lot like Hello Kitty in terms of the diversity of products it’s featured on.

Introducing the Angry Birds hand sanitizer bottle (they will now destroy bacteria while they’re not destroying pigs)

I’m not quite sure what to think of it, but it seems that Rovio is taking some unusual routes to promote their brand (especially when you consider that Angry Birds is the only IP they consistently stick to).

Granted, they’re not at the point of Hello Kitty which is branded onto such things as toilet paper and exhaust pipes.

Comments?

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away - they realized branding was inevitable.

If there is add space available anywhere, someone will use it. (The irony is not lost on the fact that an ad may or may not play before the clip.) Quite frankly I’m tired of seeing logos on everything, but as long as economies work the way they do, they aren’t going away.
