is there a way to make an angular map that is used for sky smaller relative to the objects in a scene? I mean I know I can increase it’s size value, and that does somewhat that, but in return it breaks it, because if for example it’s increased to size 2 on x, it becomes a 180 degrees map instead of being a 360 degrees map.
So is it possible to make it seem smaller while retaining the 360 degrees mapping?
Or in other words: If I imagine it as a globe around the scene, and the angular map as a texture mapped on the inside wall of the globe, is it possible to make the globe smaller, or do I have to make into an actual globe? But if I do, can I use that globe’s texture for (fake, but accurate) image based lighting?
