Animate along a path defined by a list of xyz coordinates

How can I take a list of (x,y,z) values that is in a txt or TSV format and generate a path? The time it takes to animate from one point to the next is constant.

Is it possible that I could generate a path in a file format like Videoscape? I have read on how to do it for a simple list of points, but how are lines connected?

Can you code Python? Or, second best, do you have any OOP experience (Python isn’t hard to pick up if you do). I think that this would be pretty easy with a Python script.
