How would I make a animated 2D image into a 3D object? I was thinking about making a 2D platformer with 3D elements.

@John95 - Is this a Game Engine specific question? Or are you more interested in something I also was interested in - an add-on to convert a 2D image (or part of it) into a 3D model?
