I made a pineapple yesterday, and had some people ask me to make a quick tutorial on the subject.
here is the picture I made:
I use this exact same method when makeing flowers too like the plumerias in this picture…
The tutorial is made for people who are acustomed to blender and its interface.
If you know how to box model you will have no problems with grasping the concept.
Requirements:
Blender
browser capable of running shockwave flash (sorry Ubuntu64 users, try KANOTIX64 is you want shockwave in stunning 64bit!).
about 5-10 minuets to watch.
This tutorial is my first test useing wink with blender… I am impressed, and i am going to use it in the future while I model to share a WIP animation with everybody 
expect more tutorials in the future…
