I am trying to have an animated gif for a texture in Blender. I am trying to have simple changing texture, no more , no less.
Any suggestions?

no can do. convert the gif to an avi or mov and you’ll be good to go. GIMP can do that (i think). AnimGIFs are lossless and single keyframed, so they are huge an you dont want to use them anyway. They are only good for avatars that freak people out.
