Animated Globe?

Hello there, I have recently gotten involved in learning Blender, but I’m struggling to figure out how to do exactly what I would like to do with it. I’m trying to make a simple globe animation where it is just stationary in the middle of the screen but rotating on it’s axis. How exactly do I go about doing this? Each time I try to just give it a simple rotation by using keyframes on it, it seems to do more of a “marble rolling on a ground” motion. Any sugestions anyone? Thanks!

Alright, I think I finally got it. The more I work with this program, the more I’m growing to love 3D and Blender. I do not think I have the talent to do what the people on here have done, but it can be a great tool for small things here and there within video editing.

Just put your damn heart into it and you’ll be able to do what the people you say got talent can. It’s all about practicing, some people just practice better than others, and I gotta say that that TOO is accomplished through practicing.

You’ll get there if you’re prepared to work for it
