What kind of avi format blender is using in animated textures, for now all of them looks like an old tv picture…

AVI Raw or AVI Jpeg for Blender Creator 2.23

Any of those compatible with the codecs installed for Blender Publisher 2.25

As for the old TV part, I guess it only depends on the quality you are using (or wether or not you use Interpolation on the texture)
