I’m planning on doing the opening titles for a short and I was going to incorporate the actual credits in the pages of a comic book. Each turn of the page would reveal another credit.
I was thinking of setting up the entire scene at 90 degrees so that I could use softbodies and gravity to pull the pages.
Is it possible to keyframe the weights of a object? This way I could control when each page is “turned”.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how acheive this effect?
I thought I had seen a post where this was discussed, but my searches didn’t get me anywhere.
Yeh i agree softbodies are fine if you want to animate wind and stuff but they take ages to set up and fiddle around with i would recommend going with duoas on this one ures armatures and stuff. Plus surely if its credits the hole book will be on the screen so there is no need for it to react with a hand to turn the page so simple things uninvolving physics such as softbodies even if you do want the page to deform surely you could use another bone or a different method.
hopes this helps

btw: i only give advice not instructions. In other words do what you like but the above is my thoughts on the subject
