Hi everyone,
I would like to be able to animate the deformation of a mesh using a lattice.
It seems that RVK’s have been replaced by shape keys for deforming the verticies in a mesh in 2.40
But there dosn’t seem to be an ability to add a shape key to a lattice.
Is it possible?

Yes its easy. With the lattice selected and the cursor in the 3d window press “i” and select “Lattice” from the popup. This defines your base shape/key and you can do the rest the same as for meshes.
