animation and game engine

ok so im trying to make a walking animation for my game but wen i made the animation and set all the ipos, the model just always goes back to his original position, which in this case was just legs and arms spread out for better modeling, i have him in an idle position to but wen i prieview the game he goes back to the better modeling position. the animation is fine if u hit alt A but the ipo wont work.

are you using an armature?
If yes IPO’s don’t work, you must use the Action editor!
