Animation 'bake action' won't include objects parented to bones

Basically I have a pitchipoy human rigify rig, I am trying to bake the animation of its pose. Anything that is weight painted onto the bones will bake correctly, but my eyes and teeth that are simply parented to their bones don’t animate when I export them into Unity.

Does anyone know why this might not be working? The animations actually work just fine in blender, but when I export them only the weight panted meshes have the animation on them.


My guess is that in-program object relationships don’t transfer to Unity. The same reason you won’t see any Blender-native physics simulations when exporting to Unity. Solution: just use the Armature modifier on the eyes and teeth.
