Hello!
I would appreciate assistance with this issue I’m having.
Currently, I’m trying to export an animation to a .glb file.
In the scene there is a character wielding a weapon, and the IK controllers of the character’s hands are constrained to the handles of said weapon via a Child Of constraint to allow me to move the weapon and have the hands follow.
As far as I understand it, to export the animation that results from this, I need to bake the action, since otherwise only the weapon will move, but not the rig.
However, when I select all the IK bones for the arms, and go to Pose > Animation > Bake Action, the arm bones immediately shift slightly in an unexpected way when the bake is completed.
Is there a way to make the bones move in the same way after the bake as they did when using just the Child Of constraint to tie it to the weapon?
Or is there a more effective way to export an animation like this?
