Banana peels can cause some embarassing moments for cartoon characters.

Nice entry McSmiffy! I’m not sure I fully get the story though. Whats the deal with the pants?

Its just my wierd sense of humour.

Normally the most embarrassing thing that can happen when you dive in is to loose your shorts.
(for me anyway - speaking from experience).

But for little blue guys and little pink guys that walk around naked all day?

  • Well I figure wearing shorts must be embarrassing for them.

Where he got them from I don’t know but they do look a bit like the ones I lost in the pool!!!

Ok. Thats what I figured.

BTW Sketchy

I was really impressed with your character - his fluid motion, stretchability and expressive nature.

Imagine how surprised I was to see that you’ve made him available on your website.

I’ve downloaded him and have started to see what he can do and I have to say so far I’m really impressed.

Already I’ve learn’t so much more by looking at what you’ve done with him.

Don’t be surprised if you see him starring in future competitions!

His name is Ludwig and for those of you who want to take a look go here:-

If you want some inspiration anyway try Sketchy’s website. I think the animations, modeling and renderings
are first class - It certainly gives me (“wow I wish I could do that”) a standard to aim at.

My personal favourite is “Creepy Valentine” - superb!!

So thanks very much for that Sketchy.

You’re quite welcome (And thanks for the kind words about my work). I’m hoping that Ludwig becomes for Blender what Generi is for Maya.

To everyone else- This is all explained more indepth on my website, but just so theres no doubt: it is legal to use Ludwig in competitions like the Animation Challenge here on elYsiun.
