Everytime I want to try the animation challenge, I’m either too late or no topic is annouced and by the time I check again I’m too late again…

Finally!

this is just great. for this once I wanted to participate in an animation challenge…the BMR is down…

Right, I’ll change some of those links, instead of just copy them from other entry threads…

EDIT: done

Aligorith - thanks for stepping in and keeping these challenges going.

Congrats to AndyD for winning -
(although I did vote for Ammusionist)

and for picking a weird subject for the next challenge!!

Cannot be created or destroyed

Can be increased by raising a body higher off the ground to increase the potential energy,

which can be converted to kinetic energy by reducing the bodies height above ground.

The Kinetic energy can then be stored as spring potential energy.

Which can then be released back as kinetic energy at any time.

Stored again as potential elastic energy

Re-released as kinetic energy…

Kinetic energy can also be transferred between 2 bodies when they collide.

Well maybe Ludwig’s in for a rough ride this week…

BTW Ammusionist don’t let that AndyD upset your mouse!!!

as I said last challenge, I’ll be in this one

Hmm…30th of September. I’ll see if I can think of something…

I might have somthing… maybe.

im doing the finishing touches of mine as we speak
Heres mine, I started from scratch 3 days ago, then last night re rendered everything and reanimated some stuff… still not happy but i’m out of time.
Everything in blender bar the compressing.
Divx and 590k and 16 secs

The hour is upon us. Any entry submitted from this point on will not be eligible for voting. However, in the event of more that one entry being submitted after this point, I will give those entries a poll of their own.

I’ve been having some network/upload problems. I will recompress the file and try this again at my own website… I’m on dialup here.

This link should work some time this evening if all goes well:

Title of entry: “What Is Power”
Time: Approximately 2.5 minutes with audio (music) by me
Compression codec: Xvid
