In fact, I was planning on making the next round have a festive theme, and have it run for a shorter time-frame.

It’s in Windows Media format. I’ll post another as soon as I can figure another codec that can compress a 20MB avi to 6MB!

I’m retracting from the challange. I misunderstood the subject.
I thought it was mechanical not mechanimal.
Sorry.
I get the feeling you already had something in production… Is there any way you could change it to fit the theme? After all a lot of mechanical items we make have a basis in the animal kingdom any way!

Anicator: You used a negative lamp to create the ambient shadows correct? To anyone who is interested in this technique check out @ndy and bassams video tutorial on lighting without ray-tracing.
