Hey , I’m Jackson i’m new here and i am a beginner in Blender.
I learnt how to make some stuff but i’m not a pro yet. Anyway i just wanted to know some stuff about animation. By this i mean, (first) how do you save the animation as an avi file, how long it takes to make and render an animation comprising of very many frames ( greater than 1000 frames ) and any tips to make an animation realistic as possible yet seem very unique.
in the render settings, you can tell it to output the animation as an avi or mov or whatever you prefer
and the amount of time per frame depends on lighting set-up, renderer, number of verts, complexity of animation, and factors like that
welcome to BlenderArtists!
EDIT: Play around with it and create your own unique style of animation. It comes with trial, error, and practice.
Jacksonian,
Welcome to the forums! Here are 2 links - the first is the most important. The second relates specifically to your question.
