Hi i am trying to animate a rope that is tied to a characters waist as they fall from a tree. Im having trouble with the rope. Physics works fine and has the result i like but i cant make it follow along with my characters descent. The physics does not go along with my character it seems to be faster and does not stick to my characters waist. When i use a different method of animating rope without physics and instead using bones in rope the rope follows perfectly with my characters waist but when hitting ground does not look as good as physics simulation . How can i get the best of both worlds? Can i do a simulation and also keyframe part of the rope to stay on characters waist?
