Hello, I’m new to blender and receintly stumbled upon a problem with animation. I set up a simple rig of a skeleton hand and all is fine exept the movement of thumb. The bones of thumb move not according to rig bones. The weights are ok and painted as needed
This is a lame answer, but try applying rotation/transformation/scale before connecting the finger object to the bones. You do this by pressing Ctrl + A while in Object mode. It might not be the right answer, but maybe it is. If not, hopefully someone smarter than me will answer you.
Perhaps, there are two modifiers armature on the thumb ?
