I have found that scrubbing through my animations has become much slower in 2.8, sometimes even freezing up for 20-30 secs just to change from one frame to the next…
Are there any new features in 2.8 that might be causing this, or is it likely just an early technical issue?

Another thing I noticed is that the new ‘Viewport Render Animation’ is much slower than the old ‘OpenGL Render Animation’ - I wonder if the two are connected?
