Hi, this is a 3-minute-long trailer for at short movie
What do you think of the characters? are they more or less likeable? (despite very little animation)
and what do you think of the whole feel of the scenes?
A lot of work and rendering still needs to be done in the actual movie, so any response and comments would be much appreciated:)
Some of my observations:
-The voice acting needs work. The one part I found distracting was when Rachel introduced herself. She said “Racial” not “Rachel.” The other thing that’s distracting about her voice is that she sounds monotone and nasally. However I do appreciate the recording of her voice; the mic has great quality
-There’s only one character that’s been introduced, so I can’t talk about the other characters. Rachel seems boring to me, which can be attributed to the poor voice acting and passable writing. Rachel’s lines lack emotion or detail, making the dialogue awkward.
-However I do appreciate the great sound design, such as the music and sound effects.
-As for the feel of the film, the textures needs more work, particularly because the characters are far more detailed than the world around them.
-And the concept of the film seems promising.
The ocean scenes look good. Some of the texture may need work. Awesome concept for a short movie!!

And yes, I know the voice over (text + sound/intonation) sucks 
and yes, some of the textures need improvements…
