I’m confused again.
I’ve set up a nice test animation of a tentacle, using AutoIK (a GREAT tool for tentacles, by the way) but it won’t render. That is, it won’t render animtion. Stills are fine, but when I set up for animation (define folder for stills, set output to Targa Raw NTSC, 30 fps, Click “Do Sequence” button, click “Animation”) the animation window pops up black and stays black. The frame count very rapidly cycles up to my end frame, much more rapidly than if it were doing renderings with the data I’ve got. It’s as though I were rendering an empty scene. Then if I deselect “Do sequence” and hit still rendering, everything’s fine.
What am I doing wrong? I’ve been trying to figure this one out since last night and looked into all things like lights on other layers (nope), dense mist (nope), camera oddly keyframed (nope).
) that “Do Sequence” is required to render a sequence of images, and I read it as being neessary for any sequece rendering, rather than in the Blender-specific sense.
