Okay, I posted on here a while ago about a game called Pistolero. We’re almost finished with our core build, and really just need to implement a menu and animations to it. I’m not going to post any screenshots or such on here because we’re trying to keep it under wraps and release it with no public knowledge of our progress. We want it to just come out of no-where.
So, If you have animations skills and game engine skills, send me a PM.
You will need to be able to animate:
• Gun recoil for character
• 1.5 second Reload Animation
• 1 Walk cycle
• 1 death or falling animation
• A crouching walk cycle
• Jumping
There might be 1 or 2 more, but its pretty simple. We have models ready and the game runs great, it just looks bad with the characters sliding around.
I can’t, I just need people to trust us. Once you sign on to the team, you get access to our forum for the work progress and schedule and you get a demo of the game so far. We’ve been working over a month on it now and its really coming together. It plays well and we just need some animations as our programmer tidys things up and fixes /adds content. We’re closing in on a finished game, which we want out in less than a month. Its fun and simple, and we need help so that our programmer can focus on coding.
I should point out that the rigs need to be small, as there are lots of enemies on the screen so lots of bones will just slow it down. Also, would be ideal to have a few variations for each animation so that all the enemies aren’t doing identical things.
Screen shots would help, but why ruin the surprise? As Renox777 said, the games close to completion, I don’t want to say how close, but close
its going to be hard to get someone to do something with out showing what they will be working on. I am a programmer and I know with out some details on the job I usually wont take it.
I understand, and I have a plan B if this falls through, but if anyone is good enough to do those animations, we just need them to trust us on this one.
I’d do it, but I’ve got enough at the moment keeping on top of the scripting for the game as it is (night shifts are destroying my life). Not sure a pre-made rig would cut it as the bone count needs to be as low as possible.
