Anime Game Character

Yep, another one of my projects…no, I doubt if I’ll get Kasumi a body, but she might turn up as a Chibi game character, much like Tetsuo Nailo in the screenshot here:

It’s taken me a lot less time than normal to make him…he has a “noseless” face complete with Edge Loops, and I’m estimating that he’s around 2 000 polygons(I like the Euro numbering system with no commas). He’s going to be Rigged and UVmapped tomorrow morning, I can’t wait to pose him! Yay!

he looks great, though it would be nice to have some kind of wavyness to the cloak.

Hmm… Are you going to softbody that cape? You’d only need a few control points and the rest can be let loose.

can softbodies be used in games?

I think I saw somewhere that they can, but the specifics are unknown to me.

To be honest, I looked at the character and immediately thought “cool --and that cape would be fun to animate” and completely forgot about it being a game character…

Regarding the cape, since I want this character to be used in a game, it’s all going to reside in the UV maps; I want to show that high-qual game characters can be created in Blender.
~UV maps are teeeedddiiioouuusss…
