I recently joined the forum and thought I’d share what I’m working on at the moment.
I’m attempting to recreate anime style characters and hopefully an animation too.
Any advice/critique would be great.
Not bad, but the lighting is a bit strong. Not enough shadow on the face, for example to see it against the neck. If you use edges, or maybe freestyle you can make it more distinct.
Nice work. That hair must have taken forever. Is the hard lighting hiding some unfortunate deformations at the elbows and shoulders? That’s fixable with good topology. Post your wires (ie, a screenshot in edit mode so we can see the wire frame) for some more detailed suggestions.
I like this, especially the hair. Great work so far.
