that’s coming along really well. For a first car you should be proud
Really nice model ! Congratrulations !
But drive slowly, or I will chase you with my Dodge Monaco 1977 !
Well, maybe I’ll finish in the pond, like Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane !o)
@ tyrant monkey and ROUBAL
You both are my inspiration, thank you for the compliments.
@ ROUBAL, lol! I will abide by the laws of Blenderville!
ah yes! this is looking much better it seems the roof is a bit thin?
@ Zeffii
I think it is just the perspective of the camera.
wow this is cool how long did it take you?
I’ve been working on it off and on for a long time. About five months.
Update: Two new renders
Render: Blender internal
Post: Comp editing nodes
Full res: IMAGE1and IMAGE2 (the pics below
have compression artifacts and are smaller)
The screen shot shows how I did the headlight glow.

This thread is very good. I learned something just watching the screenshots. thanks
there is nothing too wrong with your wires so instead of reworking you wires you have to instead do that other tedious bit of car modeling smoothing and vertex pushing. use a gray material with a high spec on you mesh and than spin it about viewing from various angles where you see bumps smooth them out.
@ tyrant monkey, thanks for the tips. I’ll try that.
woah… you sure those last renders aren’t real pictures?
that is one seriously awesome model!
I am definitely going to re-examine the pictures more closely - I have my first non-tutorial car-project planned for after my current project (see sig), so…
really awesome
definitely good improvement, keep up the good work
@ MeshWeaver: thanks, but it’s still far from realistic!
@ tdietz 87: Thank you for the encouragement. You did well on your first car (the Ferrari 599)!
This is great. If saw it and didn’t know it was a render I would think it actually was a picture.
Excellent !
can you give us the blend file?
because this camaro is awesome
@ manmen111 Sorry I don’t want to give away a model that you can’t learn much from. But Tyrant Monkey has offered BMW M6 which is well designed >>LINK<<.
P.S. Thank him for it!
WARGL, beautiful !
