This project actually started as an excersise to try to achieve a good skin material, a material that reacted correctly to lighting and that could serve as a good base, after a lot of work and a lot of experiments i achieved this material, after that i decided to model a quick character in order to test it applied to a model, unfortunately since i am using nodes the material whases out a lot the color map, and the bump maps need extra high values (imusing around 17 of nor or so), but im pretty happy with the result`s, hope you liket it.

Thanks for the comments, actually i wasn`t completely satisfied with it, so i decided to play a bit more with the material nodes and the lighting, this time i left aside the turbant and the hair to focus only in the character, and this is what i ended up with,straight from blender, just a bit of glow, “background” and the signature added in photoshop.
