Well I haven’t been using Blender very long so this is probably a very simple question but here it goes:
How do you flip which faces inherit the UV? I am making an eye and for some reason the UV was on the wrong side of it (the iris part was on the back of it). What is the best way to correct this problem?
Flip the normals. In edit mode, select all the faces for the iris and press Ctrl-N. If that doesn’t fix it, press W and select Flip Normals.
Look in the more mesh tools panel. choose Show Normals (NOT V[ertex]Normals!) you will see a blue line extending out of the middle of the face. The direction that line points is the side that will have your texture on it unless you set it as two sided.
